Meet Dr. Boecker Dentist in Katy, TX
Michelle Boecker, DDS Dr. Michelle Boecker was born and raised in Sugar Land, TX. After graduating Cum Laude from Clements High School, she attended Texas A&M University. In college, she studied Biology and Psychology. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and received Magna Cum Laude Honors at Texas A&M. Dr. Boecker then headed back home to Houston to attend the University of Texas Dental School in the Houston Medical Center.
In dental school, she was awarded the “ASDA Excellence award” and also graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Boecker has also volunteered over 300 hours in hospital settings working with medically compromised patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit as well as participating in dental mission trips to Costa Rica. She has also been published in the national ASDA magazine for an article she wrote which linked the connection between diet choices and oral health. It was these experiences that created an interest to pursue an integrative approach to dentistry and to focus on the oral-systemic and medical connections. She has a special interest in Airway Dentistry and has had experience in diagnosing and treating apneic patients. She also has focused on Cosmetic and Restorative/Implant dentistry and is currently pursuing her general dentistry fellowship in these focused areas (only 6% of general dentists in the USA are awarded this title). Dr. Boecker is also a member of the highly renowned Spear Academy and Seattle Study Club.
When she is not focusing on dentistry Dr. Boecker enjoys being outdoors with her husband, Drew, and her English lab, Major. She enjoys traveling, photography, and exploring new restaurants around Houston.
